I screwed up. I am making two kinds of enchiladas for friends today, and thought I would make one pan from scratch with my own homemade sauce and another using Frontera enchilada sauce. Well, I bought simmer sauce.
It's pretty tart and not thick like a sauce. any ideas on what I can do to turn it into enchilada sauce? I do like the flavor, but it is intended to be added to the pan when making things like shrimp, not to really be a sauce like one would use for enchiladas.
