Just had lunch there and I need to tell you all about the amazing spring vegetable soup. Given how hot it is today, I wasn't initially interested in a hot soup, but I'm so glad I tried it. It's a gorgeous array of every veg they've got now (including a generous helping of fava beans, mmm) in a clear broth made from fennel and apple. It's a little sweet and a little spicy (there's some hot pepper or chili oil in there, too), but mostly a profoundly flavored celebration of spring.
