Heading to Venice soon. We are traveling with a 13 year old who likes fish, but has not had much experience with frutti di mare. I know that Fritto misto is a popular menu item all over Venice. I think she would find fried seafood yummy and it seems like a good way to introduce her to some new foods that might be a bit intimidating if they weren't battered and fried :-)
Fried veggies are great too, of course.
So where can we find good fritto in Venice?
If done wrong it can be heavy and greasy. Light thin coating would be best, eh?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
