Does anyone have suggestions for great frites (french fries) prepared the way Benita's used to make 'em? (They double-fried them, the authentic Belgian way.)
I've been to Hollywood Fries in Westwood, which was fine. But it just wasn't Benita's. I think they only fry the potatoes once. They try to woo you with multiple dipping sauces, but it isn't the same.
