I had to get over there and try the fish and chips but was left feeling pretty disappointed. Perhaps the quality control issues only arise when the owner isn't present, but the batter was fried to an earthy brown tone and there really isn't any way I could describe it as light in consistency. The solo employee did seem eager to offer us more sauces and condiments but didn't seem informed about what they offered. We inquired about the oysters and he kind of shrugged and indicated that he wasn't into them or hadn't tried them. The oil also tasted slightly stale, odd since the place just opened.
We did go at 9pm (they close at 930pm during the week), so maybe that's why? I wouldn't drive across town for it. Full review on yelp linked below.
