Asking for a friend: Best goat roti, shawarma, samosas and doubles in Toronto? Best late night snack options along Queen West besides Bar Fancy and Chantecler?

prima | Feb 23, 201605:27 AM     23

My last goat roti order was placed at the Mr Jerk about 7 years ago, so I'm out of the loop. Where would you go? Open to recs in the burbs as well as along the subway line.

Which is the best place for shawarma these days? Which is the best of the places on Lawrence W?

And apart from Drupati's, which places make great Trinidadian doubles?

And which places do you currently recommend for amazing samosas?

Also, are there any drink and snack-type places you'd recommend that are open after 11 pm that you'd recommend, on West Queen W / Dundas W? I mentioned Bar Fancy and Chantecler, but I'm out of the loop for newer places doing the late-night snack thing.

Thanks for any tips!
