Fried Tofu Sandwich at Bakesale Betty's

I finally tried the tofu sandwich at Bakesale Betty's, which is a vegetarian version of their fried chicken. The only difference is they use fried tofu (they get tofu specially made by Hodo for this purpose) instead of chicken, so it has the spicy coleslaw and is on an Acme roll.

I don't eat meat, but I've always been intrigued by this sandwich, so I was thrilled to finally get to try a version of it. I thought it was delicious - spicy, savory, warm, filling. The tofu is a nice thick piece, and tastes flavorful all the way through.

I'm not sure it's worth battling the long lines at the height of the lunch hour, but it was very good, and I will look forward to eating it again when convenient.

Has anyone else tried it?
