I used to live in Gloucester Heights and used to visit a little luncheonette at the corner of Cumberland and Burlington Streets called..Gordys. I rmember his fried texas weiners, I used to make them for my kids at lunctime. We loved them. But they are grown now and we want them again. But its been so long I can't remember how to make them. I know he took hotdogs, cut them in half lenghtwise, fried them on each side gently. Made toast, out the dogs on the bread, I rmember chopped onions and rleish. But not sure if he put anything else on them. Does anyone formerly from Gloucester City remember eating them at Gordys? And if so, do you know how to make them?
