So, I'm in this Chinese restaurant today and they serve fried rice with gravy. The whole description on the menu is Seafood fried rice with gravy, fuk-jin style.
Looking on the web, I'm not really coming up with anything. Only two references. Is this common to have fried rice with gravy? If so, where is this common. The only reference I could find said something about it being Hong Kong style.
I'm thinking that the English traslation is mangled. The only other thing I could find that sounded the same was Fook Kin fried rice (really, behave). Not much about that either.
I don't really recall discussions about this on the SF board.
Anyone have more info. What is a good version of this dish supposed to taste like?
