As I have been transplanted to the deep midwest for several years now from NYC, I have almost forgotten what this delicacy tastes like.
But there is a light at the end of my tunnel!
I am visiting Chicago next month, and I *must* find some juicy fried plantains. Heaped with freshly chopped garlic. My family has never had this, my favorite comfort food from college, and I must pass this legacy on!
Can anyone help??
