The best fried oysters I've had anywhere...

...last night at Absinthe. They were so good, in fact, we ordered a second appetizer plate before our entrees arrived. Perfectly battered, perfectly fried and not oily at all, HOT, perfect colour, and served in the shell over a little butter braised leeks and really good remoulade. I almost wanted to have them as an entree...
The Armagnac-soaked prunes with vanilla ice cream were pretty damn good too.
