Fried Gizzards [moved from Florida board]

I want the best fried gizzard recipe......I have tried them many times......Too tough, too chewy...I have tried to trim the membrane and fat per other recipes.That's not easy...I had nothing left after I trimmed them.......Give me a great fried gizzard recipe without all the work guys....Thanks
