I just had breakfast at the local diner. I ordered 2 fried eggs, bacon and home fries. When the order came out the eggs looked more like they were done "Over Easy" except the yolks were not runny at all.

I may be wrong but have always thought that "Fried Eggs" was the same as "Sunny Side Up." I like runny yolks.

When I questioned the server she said that I should have asked for "Sunny Side Up." She was very nice and offered to change them.

It was not a big deal but I was confused.

I'm looking for the expert opinion of fellow Chowhounders.
