Fried Dace with Salted Black Beans

We recently picked up a can of this stuff from a nearby Chinese supermarket: Fried Dace with Salted Black Beans. I'm usually leery of seafood in cans that isn't cat food, but this product really won me over. Salted fish, deep fried to such an extent that even the fins and spinal column are deliciously crunchy and edible, packed in salty fishy oil with salty black beans. Did I mention that this stuff is salty?

It's wonderful to open a can of this stuff late at night and dump it over a pile of steaming white rice or noodles.

Or first thing in the morning, over congee.

Anyone ever tried this? It comes in a pretty red and yellow can and is 99 cents here in NYC.
