Make it yourself:

Rinse and Season Chicken (Use Paula Dean's House Seasoning. 4 parts salt, 1 part pepper, 1 part garlic powder) season chicken up to 2 hours before use.

4 eggs beaten, add about 1/2 cup of a Louisiana Hot Sauce.


about 2-3 cups of self Rising Flour with about 1/2 teaspoon of Ground Black Pepper mixed in. (I also add some Cayenne for an added kick)

Cook in Peanut Oil at 350

That is the best I've had, the cheapest, and very easy.

I find great deals on Peanut Oil at Costco (But it is a seasonal item, for deep frying turkeys).
