FRIED CHICKEN AT PARKER's, Wilson, NC…...

…..made the cover of Saveur magazine. Sounds terrific! Any recent reports of Parker's, and the other dishes there…BBQ??

I just returned from a drive to NY from Florida and again made our usual detour through Eastern NC so we could indulge in BBQ. The last few times we made the pilgrimage to Ayden but this time decided to veer off our usual route and sample Wilber's. I found their pork to be disappointing--too wet and kind of mushy. Sauce was a bit too vinegary for my taste. So next time it will be back to Skylight and, hopefully, a stop at Bunn's as well. Or should we include Parker's??
