I swung by this downtown standby today and had a fine lunch. The vegetarian kebab, stuffed with minced swiss chard, was delicious.
Even better was the fried cauliflower. The florets were lightly fried, batter-free, and topped with tahini and hot sauce. It was a great middle eastern version of the neopolitan classic antipasta, zucchine a scapece. I'd go back just for some cauliflower, which is available every day.
