Ya'll, this is the time of year for sweet baby catfish from those commercial farms and I'm looking for suggested restaurants. Jack's in Hilton, SC used to be fine but haven't been there since ownership changed. Years ago I went to a place on Lake Murray by boat and the CF was great but could never find it again.
I don't care too much for the large fried catfish which tend to be tasteless and rubbery. Those sweet bone-in fingerlings are what I'm after and good stew is always a bonus. Any suggestions for SC, NC, Ga or where ever?
