Friday Lunch with a Small Dog

letahaa | Sep 7, 201702:10 PM     5

My husband and I are flying into Portland tomorrow to visit friends who live about 40 minutes west of Portland. We land around noon, and are are bringing our small (7 pound) dog with us. We are renting a car at the airport, and would like to stop somewhere good for lunch in Portland before headed to our friends' place.

We are open as to type of cuisine, but would prefer things like Italian, French, or even burgers over Asian cuisine. I've done some research on which restaurants would allow dogs on their patios, but since there seem to be quite a few, I am getting a little confused/overwhelmed in terms of trying to narrow it down. Does anyone have any suggestions?
