Fresh Wild Caught Floridian Stone Crab Claws from 'Diana's Seafood, Scarborough'

Charles Yu | Jan 13, 202104:59 PM     12

Starting from tomorrow, the implementation of a more stringent 2nd round of Covid restriction could see police setting up road blocks to stop and question car drivers and occupants their reason for venturing out.
Telling them I am traveling down from Richmond Hill to Diana's in Scarborough, just to get some oysters and bi-valves, might have problem passing as ' Essential Grocery Shopping '!! Ha! :D
Today, in full battle gear, I decided to venture out one last time before the next round of lock-down kicks-in and make one mega-seafood purchase at 'Diana's'. Amongst my haul was some super-expensive Fresh Florida Wild Caught Stone Crab Claws.
Attached photo showed my share of the afternoon tea feast. 2 claws for $17!! Worth the price? Well, I must admit they were a delight to eat. Meaty and sweet but for that price, I would prefer our BC Dungeness Crab ( legs ) any day.....not to mention those creamy and umami loaded brains!
