According to this article: http://www.downtownexpress.com/de_26/... , while the fresh mangosteen is not (yet) legal for import, the rambutan is. Has anyone seen fresh rambutans available in New York? I was able to buy canned rambutans this weekend in Chinatown, but find the experience lacking in comparison to the fruit's natural state.
