Fresh pasta?

lockoutlass | Jun 5, 2005 02:36 PM

Can anyone help me find fresh pasta for sale anywhere in the bay area, preferably on the Peninsula/San Jose? I used to live in Boston and was spoiled by Capone Foods, where you could buy flat sheets of fresh pasta cut to any size you liked (angel hair, linguine, fettucine, etc.) in any of about two dozen flavors (black pepper, red wine, tarragon, squid ink...). I'm not a fan of the supermarket varieties, and while I see that Ferrari Foods is now selling little tubs of precut fresh pasta, there's no choice in flavor, and who knows how long that's been sitting there. Capone's was in the restaurant trade, and had a small storefront to let the public buy as well -- I figure there must be some equivalent around here?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
