Frenched pork chops on the grill: need advice

First time using a new grill.
I don't remember ever cooking pork chops on a grill.

I have some very pretty Frenched thick pork chops I am planning to grill tonight for guests. They weight at least 11 ounces and are an inch thick.

It will be an embarrassing and expensive mistake if I don't get them right! I am panicking.

All suggestions are very much appreciated.
