About a month from now I will be seeing an old friend who grew up in England, speaks French as a second language, has been to Paris numerous times, and generally avoids French cuisine. He prefers Italian, Asian, and Mexican/South American food- the pasta/noodles, meat and fish cut into smaller pieces, and in general flavors that he prefers or are more piquant.
I don't have a ton of experience with French food, but it would be cool to find a French restaurant in the Greater Boston Area with cooking that would appeal even to someone who isn't very excited about the cuisine. I suspect a somewhat creative menu, executed extremely well, would do the trick. Thanks!
