We ate at Tournelsol tonight located on Vernon between 50th and 51st on the west side of the street (located a few steps from the Vernon/Jackson subway stop on the #7 line). It was great!!! No opening night jitters. Every dish was marvelous. The 7 of us had carrot soup, scallops, and muscles as appetizers, roast chicken, duck breast, monkfish and cod for main courses, and they offered us fruit salad, a creme brulee and a tiramisu for dessert. Every dish was unbelieveable. The service was great. And the cost was very reasonable, with wine, dinner and tip it was $35 a head.
