French Laundry for my grandmother?

Cheleigh | Mar 1, 200609:49 AM     21

Hola Chowhounds. Long time no visit. Anyhoo, my darlin' mom made French Laundry reservations for my birthday this Sunday. She made the reservation before she understood the whole "prix fixe" thing! :-) At any rate, my granny obviously wants to celebrate my b-day with me, but she's never been an "adventurous eater" even in her heyday and at this point in life (80) she eats only a small amount (and loves junk food like chicken strips, but I digress). At any rate, how do you think she'll fare at the French Laundry? Will it be miserable for her, or will she be able to pick through the courses okay? Thoughts appreciated.
