Need Help: French dinner tomorrow

Isabelle | Jan 25, 2002 01:12 PM

I am looking for a place at such a short notice for dinner sat for 6 party. We are all in our mid 20s. Have been to Daniel, Jean Georges, Eleven Madison Park,Le Bernardin, Cello, Montrachet, Town and found them excellent but don't want to go there again tomorrow.

Thinking about Jo Jo, has anyone been there after the renovation(how different is it, food, atmosphere and crowd wise?)
Also how is Jo Jo compare to Jean Georges because I actually went there two weeks ago with my boyfriend. who also will be going tomorrow is unsure to go to Jo, afraid we'll get overwhelmed. But my other friends are visiting for out of town, they want French food and I'd like to make impression because we won't see them again for a long time.

I also heard about L'Ecole and Jean Luc(Roul's ex cehf moved there)

So far I tried to make reservations without success but they'll ask to call tomorrow after they have cancellation and usually it works. I only get one in Papillon (heard that Atlas's chef moved there), anyone been there?

Your comments will be greatly appreciated and I will report to you. Thank you.
