French Astoria Bon Vieux Temps

My girlfriend and I dined at Bon Vieux Temps last night - a new French restaurant on Ditmars and 45 St. in Astoria. They have been open for about two weeks.
The menu was relatively small, but the selections were well thought out, and the wine list was decent. It's a very nice room, done in a mustard color with soft lighting. Most of the seating is banquette, but there are a few tables. I'd say it seats about forty. The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I had the pork chop ($14), my date had the lamb chop ($35). It would have been a nice romantic dinner, except for the seemingly unavoidable loser on the cellphone in the group of seven sitting to our right. Can't these people be banned from the planet? Other than that, if you can catch an evening there without the yappers, it's a very nice place to go.
