New to freezing meals here. We love beef in our home and are picky about the way our beef tastes. Truthfully have never made a freezer meal or even defrosted beef for a meal but would like to start due to being busy, but am concerned about the taste of beef after freezing.

Does it make a difference tastewise between
1. cooking ground beef / stew meat meals prior to freezing?
2. Freezing raw ground beef/stew meat and then cooking meals later

I would be using cubed stew meat to make beef tips over rice and ground beef for tacos. Any tips on freezing to preserve taste would be appreciated!
