freezing fresh herbs

I just bought some sage last night and only used a small amount--I dont really anticipate using it again this week, and don't want to waste it either...How can I freeze fresh sage without it going gross and mushy? Other herbs I have used that have been frozen (chives, parsley) haven't really been that great.
Is it better just to dry the fresh herbs out in the oven and use them that way? (If this is the case, time/temp suggestions)
