Freezing french macaroons

I've ended up with a sealed tin box of macaroons baked 4 days ago and I'd like to serve them on Easter knowing they won't be perfect. If I put parchment paper between the layers; put them in a ziplock bag and then back in the box in the freezer - is that worth a try?
