Freezing container

I'm planning to make a lot of individual meals for my dad and I'm wondering what the best way to freeze certain things are or what containers to use? Can I place a serving of lasagna in a tupperware container or will it get freezer burn if there is space? I don't want to put something like that in a bag, as it would be difficult heat in a micro. And what container's should I use for enchiladas and other casseroles so that they can be warmed in a microwave and remain fresh? Thanks
