Freezing Brie

Is it possible to freeze brie without losing the texture and/or taste? Our 2 person household received a whole wheel of brie that is about 10" in diameter and my husband doesn't even like brie. I do, but I know from past experience (we got the same gift last year) that it will spoil if I just keep the whole brie in the refrigerator until I consume it. I don't have a vacuum sealer (and wouldn't buy it just to save this brie). We don't have any entertaining plans in the near future that would enable me to share the brie with others. Any suggestions?
