freezing bread

Hi all,

I was wondering if I could get some feedback in regards to freezing bread already sliced. I am single, and typically bake my own bread. I do not go through it very fast, so I generally only keep a half loaf in the fridge at any time. The rest goes in the freezer. Depending on what I may be eating that week, even the half loaf often goes stale before I get to it. I have been wondering what would happen if I froze my bread pre-sliced rather than in a whole half loaf? That way, I could only thaw what was needed for the day. Does anybody have any thoughts on this matter?
