I had two cakes for my birthday yesterday! A chocolate sour cream layer cake and a coconut layer cake with a cream cheese based frosting. Lots of leftovers so I want to freeze some.
I want to freeze in slices so we can just pull out what we need when we want. How would you wrap the slices? I'm thinking just wrap each slice in plastic wrap then put them in freezer bags? Or maybe flash freeze the slices first on a cookie sheet then wrap? Any ideas?
