Can I freeze the rest of my pork shoulder?

I just made a batch of homemade banh mi for the first time, and it turned out pretty well (I used the recipe from Food & Wine). Trouble is, it's just the missus and I tonight, and I have about 1/2 of the pork shoulder left. Can I freeze it (zip it in a freezer bag) and not lose the flavor, or am I destined to hand over the leftovers to a pork-loving neighbor? I'd love to find a way to keep it.
