I am in the habit of absolutely not drinking a bottle of wine if the taste is not to my liking. It doesn't have to be bad; it's just that if I'm going to drink wine, I want it to be up to my snuff.
There is absolutely no alterntive to emptying it down the sink that I can think of except to save it for cooking, and I don't care to be rushed into beef bourgoine or bolognese.
Yes, yes, I know, I know :-)) the admonition: If it's not good enough to drink, it's not good enough to cook with - but that's not necessarily true. In my household I used to have a person who would find delightful a bottle that I didn't like absolutely delightful. But that person is no longer able to perform this duty.
Any suggestions for freezing - I've read a few notes here and there about it - any advice appreciated.
