My husband and I will be in Manhattan for a conference and have a free night--a Thursday in late May. We will be in midtown--near Times Square for the conference, but are willing to travel if someone out there has a "find" that they are willing to share.
Budget: <$90 pp before drinks, tip, etc. (But, it doesn't have to be in that range--cheaper is okay too.)
Likes/dislikes: We love good food, but it doesn't have to be fancy, trendy, or unique. We like nearly all ethnicities of food--japanese, thai, italian, french, scandinavian,...really anything. Our favorite places are family-run restaurants where they focus on making your evening comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. While clean is important, fancy furnishings is not--but I'm also not looking for a "dive." (Something like a traditional trattoria.) An added bonus would be live music.
Thanks in advance for anything you have to offer!
