Frank Pepe's vs. Stoked Brookline

This was a very unscientific comparison yesterday but I went to Frank Pepe's in Chestnut Hill and picked up an "Original Pie with Mozzarella". I then went to the new brick and mortar Stoked in Washington Square and picked up a Sausage and Onion Pie. I understand that I was comparing two different pies but based on the flavor and crust, I much preferred Stoked (as did the other two tasters). The crust from Pepe's was rather meh and bland while the Stoked crust was far more interesting. I will certainly return to Stoked, however, my favorite in the Boston area is still Area Four. The Stoked Pizza is on top with more slices eaten.
