Frames Problem with MS IE

Bill Hunt | Jul 8, 2008 07:10 PM

I searched this board, and read many pages, in hopes that someone else had already reported this, but either I could not find it, or no one else has experienced this problem.

Using MS IE 7.0.5730.13 and on two different laptops, the "People Reading Me" frame overlaps the frame accessed by clicking on their avitar. This has happened over the last 8 mos. (about the time of the last big Web site change). I have expected it to be corrected, but it has not. It also happened with the previous version of IE (do not have the vers. # and build, but it was probably a later vers. 6). Before the site change, when one clicked on any avitars in this frame, their info mini-frame would display *over* the "People Reading Me" frame. As it is now, one can only see the far right edge of only the right-hand column of avitars, as any others will appear totally behind the main frame.

To test, I have Maximized the screen, opened on a similar version of IE on dual 21" monitors - nothing. Same situation. Whatever was in the coding, before the last big change, was good, but now is "broken." I do not have other browsers to test with, but can assure you that later vers. of IE display the same way.

Thank you,
