Fra'mani "savory meatloaf" at SF Costco

david kaplan | Oct 22, 200803:44 PM     25

I went to Costco today for the first time in many years and for the first time as a San Franciscan. I nearly fell over when I saw Fra'mani savory meatloaf in the refrigerator section. Neither I nor my husband-to-be even likes meatloaf very much, but Fra'mani is far and away my favorite of the local artisan sausages, so I am willing to try anything their name on the package. Three pounds, $15, in two packages, with a tomato sauce. Will be dinner someday soon.

An earlier post noted that Richmond Costco stocked Fra'mani cooked sausage, as of last year : http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/446721 .

I didn't have time today to find other Fra'mani products at SF Costco -- I think it takes practice to navigate the store -- but if I looked harder would I have found more?
