Well, there hasn't been much discussion of Fort Lee lately, so after living here for two years, I thought I would post some favorites and ask you all to do the same...
The Coffee Tree: Really excellent "regular" food and comfy atmosphere. This is my "don't feel like cooking" place.
Baggio's: Very good pizza.
The bakery next to King's Supermarket: Not incredible, but the best bakery I've found in the immediate vicinity.
Parisienne: Japanese bakery. Try the strawberry shortcake.
Ruth's: Much has been said here. It's good.
Yamaguchi: Sushi. Recent find, and somewhat puzzling. Absolutely incredible toro, trout, orange clam, giant clam, sweet shrimp, yellowtail, mackerel, white tuna. So-so salmon and regular tuna. BAD squid. Half price sushi Fri, Sat, Sun, holidays from 5p-9pm. I think they use lower grade fish if you order a sushi combination. I haven't figured this place out yet, but the good stuff is REALLY good.
.I feel like there are hidden gems around here that I haven't discovered. Anyone?
