We vacationed in FLL two years back and Chowhound was great getting us to excellent establishments, five star or dive class.
One place we've forgotton the name but not the chow, was an out-of-the-way pizzaria recommended on the Florida board. It had excellent brick oven, thin crust pies, and was located on a side street close to the airport. Only reference I see here from the archives that came close to its description when searching was "Anthonys Coal-Oven Pizza, and Chicken Wings, on US-1 north of SR#84."
Is this the place?
(It was recommended by a 'hound back then, that I recognized from the Boston board. I thought I'd pick-up on the thread by focusing on "9lives" and "Coyote" as I recognize them from the Boston CH board. I saw they frequently post in the Florida board, and I had a hunch it was either of them that posted about this great diamond-in-the-rough pizza by the airport. But I'm stumped!)
I have my tongue hanging out for some great 'za when I get off the plane next week. Any help with the name of the place is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance! Mike Hunt (yeah, I know the joke,,, say it out loud!)
