The Formula of Rasa is Soooo Good

Steve | Dec 12, 202104:25 PM

There are three locations of Rasa, which is a purely local enterprise (for now) from the same family of Bombay Bistro. It is a fast service rice/salad bowls place similar in scope to Cava/Chipotle/Many Others. They are in Crystal City, Nationals Park - a block north, and City Vista (5th and K Sts NW)

So far everything has been extra delicious plus there is enough customization to make repeat visits rewarding.

I have yet to get any of the meats (there is an upcharge). The two selections of roast vegetables are superb, and also the sweet potato fritters are another good choice. There are five sauces, multiple vegetable add-ons, crunchy toppings, and at the end you can add some spicy sauce/chutney to the mix. The base of turmetic rice is so moist and warm and tasty. I could probably just eat a bowl of that and be happy.
