This was suggested by tanspace and I ordered the three classic dishes of the cuisine:
Tsao Ma Mien: red coloured soup/broth probably from the red chiles, noodles (nice texture), pieces of calamari, shrimps, sliced meats and napa cabbage. The broth has good flavor, overall it was quite good if you like spicy soup.
Sweet sour beef: this is beef dusted in flour and fried until the outside is crisped. Then a sweet sauce similar to lemon chicken is poured on top. Good frying technique. If you like sweet sour, this one is a slight twist from the usual red sauced pork type - sauce not goopy.
Gan Pong chicken: is not even close to what I had at the now extinct Golden Deli of the past. The crust on the chicken is not the same and also more wet. Probably about the same quality at Shan Dong that we did not enjoy more last time.
