Okay, so I have given up on finding a restaurant that has crab dip, beer, and amazing burgers, so I am dropping crab dip from the equation and focusing on the high quality beer and very good burgers idea. I have my heart set on monk's but hear the wait is crazy on Friday nights. Anyone have any experiences to share regarding how long they have waited? Was planning on going to dinner before going to Dave and Busters...say about 7:30...but might be able to go eat afterwards...say about 10:00. The next option is Nodding head..how does everyone feel about their burgers? Anyone who knows of a good restaurant for quality burgers (yes I know Nifty Fifties type places are good....just looking for a "different" kind of burger here)please help me out. Standard tap also sounds great but there have been way too many people saying the noise is out of control, so I think that one is out. The restaurant can be in Philly, West Chester, or on the Main Line. Help!
p.s. if you know of any non-burger places in the city that would be a ideal places to celebrate the birthday of a 24 year old, (fun atmosphere and good food, etc) I'm open for suggestions..he is a major carnivore, and I am a vegetarian....I am willing to starve to please him though.
