I thought it would be interesting to make a list of the restaurants/dishes that spark a great debate over whether the process of getting and consuming the food is worth it, or outweighs what people grudgingly admit is pretty good chow, if only they didn't have to _[fill in the aggravation]_ to get it. It seems like often the people who think the chow outweighs the hassle have tips on avoiding it, and so it doesn't ruin the experience for them.

Any dim sum house in SGV for westsiders, who have to brave the drive and arrive before 10 to avoid waiting an hour!
