Food Suggestions for Charleston without Car / Culinary Tours?

lmwmcintyre | Apr 23, 201702:26 PM

Hello! Heading to Charleston with husband for first time in June (Sun-Fri). We will not have a car until the end of the trip, when we will head down to Savannah for the day. Staying near the Market. Have so far booked dinners at R. Kitchen & Husk. Looking for other walkable recommendations - ideally would like a casual oyster / raw bar place for dinner Sunday (167 Raw?), and then open for any other ideas (high brow or low) one night. Lunch ideas that I've seen on other posts include Butcher & Bee, Artisan Meat Share, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Hominy Grill. Would love to try some soul / low-country cooking too. Any good brewpubs?

Also, has anyone taken or could recommend a culinary tour of Charleston? Is it worth it, or would we be better served just eating at delicious places?
