I get the idea of removing oxygen/moisture contamination from stored food products to extend freshness. But am sort of leery of jumping in and getting one lest I become consumed with the need to store EVERYthing in some sort of food saver gadget. I originally started thinking about getting one for shipping baked goods to a soldier.
Who has and uses one, and are there sensible applications and ones not worthy of time/expense?
Thanks in advance, I hope to have you hounds help me sort out this quandry.
