I made Ina's roasted tomato soup yesterday (from the Barefoot Contessa Cookbook) and at the end it calls for running the soup through a food mill set on the coarsest setting.
I'm a young cook with only the supplies handed down to me by mom, so needless to say I don't have one of these. Does anyone know a good substitute? I thought about buzzing it through the food processor...right now the soup is sitting chunky in my fridge. Thoughts?
